Crippled smile

I fell to the deepest, darkest silence.
Disturbing silence.

Reached out to nothing.
I kept sinking.

Silence tears from my dry eyes,
I became deaf.
You became blind.

You burned life by the pitch of your voice.
Dead silence.
Souls, crippled.

In my silence, I screamed and shouted.
I wet my eyes.
I cried, I cried,
But you were blind.
